Transform education as a Long Term Occasional Teacher at Sioux North High School with Keewatin-Patricia District School Board. This full-time role begins on August 31 and continues until the return of the incumbent, but not beyond June 25, 2027.

At KPDSB, you will be part of a caring educational environment that serves about 5,000 students across 23 schools. An OCT Certificate is required, and candidates with Intermediate/Senior and Construction qualifications will be prioritized. Experience with First Nations and Indigenous cultures will provide valuable insight into our educational approach.

Key Responsibilities:



• Create and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans • Work collaboratively with staff and community partners • Engage with First Nations and Indigenous learners effectively • Develop and apply modern educational strategies • Foster an inclusive atmosphere for all students

Requirements: • Must hold a valid OCT Certificate • Familiarity with Ontario educational philosophies required • Experience or knowledge about Indigenous communities essential • Robust leadership, organization, and communication skills • Vulnerable Sector Check required upon hiring
