Working under the Vancouver Island Health Authority, this role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote mental health among youth aged 13-35. Your background, whether through personal experience or formal training, equips you to deliver compassionate assistance to clients facing trauma. Flexibility with travel and your schedule is key.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide compassionate support to young adults facing psychosis • Partner with a team to coordinate care • Develop and deliver educational materials • Maintain transparent communication with clients and families • Input and manage records in an electronic file system
Requirements: • Past experience with mental health or addiction services • Completion of Peer Support Training course • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License • High school diploma or equivalent education • Proven ability to work independently and efficiently
