COILED TUBING HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC (EAST SHOP) – GRANDE PRAIRIE (GPC)

The Coiled Tubing Heavy Duty Mechanic isresponsible for the maintenance and mechanical workings of all vehicles.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure thatTrican’s core value, “Secure equipment and operations” is the priority inall activities
- Operate a hoistand lift device to position machinery in a safe manner
- Inspect andexamine vehicles and equipment
- Service,diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain vehicles and perform otherroutine maintenance work
- Keep up to datewith industry standards and regulations
- Provides guidanceand instruction to less experienced operators,



or apprentice maintenancepersonnel

Experience & Skills:

- Journeyman Certificationstrongly preferred with proven experience as a Coiled Tubing Mechanic.Applicants with apprenticeship status with relevant work experience mayalso be considered.
- Previousexperience in a Field Mechanic role will also be considered
- Valid Class 1license preferred; will consider Class 3 or 5
- Heavy EquipmentTechnician will be an asset
- Safe drivingskills; driver’s abstract will be requested
- Physically fit –heavy lifting required
- Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
