Company Description Everpath Therapy is a hybrid psychotherapy practice serving clients across Ontario and In-person in Burlington, with a focus on supporting high-functioning individuals managing anxiety, self-doubt, and trauma-related concerns. The practice specializes in challenges such as high-functioning anxiety, people-pleasing tendencies, low self-esteem, and feeling emotionally overwhelmed or stuck in repetitive patterns. Using evidence-based strategies, the team supports clients in managing anxiety, reducing overthinking, increasing self-compassion, and fostering long-term emotional resilience. Services are delivered virtually, making care accessible and flexible for clients throughout the province as well as in person in Burlonggon.
Role Description The Registered Psychotherapist will provide individual psychotherapy to clients experiencing high-functioning anxiety, self-doubt, trauma-related symptoms, and related emotional challenges. This contract role involves conducting thorough intake assessments, developing collaborative treatment plans, and delivering ongoing, evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs. The psychotherapist will maintain detailed clinical documentation, participate in regular case consultations, and uphold ethical and professional standards in line with regulatory requirements.
This is a hybrid role based in Burlington, ON,
with a mix of in-person sessions and remote work from home to support client accessibility and therapist flexibility. The psychotherapist will also contribute to a supportive, trauma-informed practice culture that emphasizes client safety, empowerment, and long-term resilience.
Qualifications
- Registration in positive standing as a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), or eligibility for registration.
- Demonstrated experience providing trauma-informed, client-centered psychotherapy, preferably with clients experiencing anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing traits, and low self-esteem.
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, case formulation, and treatment planning using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, EMDR, or other relevant approaches).
- Ability to build therapeutic rapport, maintain clear professional boundaries, and foster a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment for diverse clients.
- Proficiency in delivering virtual therapy, including comfort with secure telehealth platforms, digital documentation, and hybrid scheduling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including accurate and timely clinical note-taking and adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a small clinical team.
- Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field; supervised clinical experience in psychotherapy is an asset.
