Position Overview The Senior AML Intelligence Specialist will leverage multiple data sources to monitor business relationships, identify potential risks or suspicious trends, and support the preparation of

Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs)
for regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and assess client activity to identify potential money laundering or terrorist financing risks
Analyze and evaluate intelligence from multiple data sources
Prepare high-quality
STRs and EDD reports
for regulatory submission
Conduct ongoing risk assessments of clients and business relationships
Utilize
open-source intelligence (OSINT)
tools and social media platforms for investigations
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather critical intelligence
Provide guidance on AML compliance and suspicious activity reporting
Identify gaps and recommend improvements to AML programs and controls
Support reporting to senior leadership and governance committees
Qualifications & Experience
2+ years in an analytical, intelligence, reporting, or AML-related role
Post-secondary education in a relevant field (Finance, Law, Criminology, Business, etc.) or equivalent experience
Solid proficiency in
MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
CAMS designation
is an asset
Solid understanding of AML regulations and compliance frameworks
