Support children and families as a Child Protection Worker with NEOFACS in New Liskeard. This full-time, 18-month contract role revolves around providing essential children's services.
Working as part of the Investigation, Assessment, and Ongoing team, your duties include preventative services, conducting risk assessments, and developing tailored protection plans. Effective communication, a flexible schedule, and the ability to travel as needed are key components of this position.
Key Responsibilities: • Administer child protection and preventative services • Complete thorough risk assessments for children in care • Develop personalized protection plans based on assessments • Ensure accurate completion of necessary documentation • Willing to work flexible hours and travel as necessary
Requirements: • MSW or BSW preferred; diploma candidates may qualify • Experience with children and families is an asset • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills a must • Ability to interpret and apply legal regulations • Minimum G2 driver’s license required; G Class preferred
