We are looking for an experienced financial professional for our Corporate Services division. You will engage in vital functions like accounts payable, payroll, and oversight of internal controls. Your leadership and analytical abilities will be essential in managing finance staff and improving financial systems and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze data and interpret municipal legislation
• Prepare detailed financial spreadsheets and reports
• Collaborate with different departments for municipal operations
• Monitor and audit special projects and agreements
• Assist in preparing Council Reports and presentations
Requirements:
• CPA designation or relevant Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and computer literacy
• Skills in managing projects and staff
• Knowledge of accounting standards and systems
