Lead impactful projects as a Senior Mechanical Engineer with AECOM in Edmonton, AB. This position focuses on designing HVAC and plumbing systems, offering a adaptable hybrid work model. AECOM is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to direct the design and construction phases of various building projects, including water treatment facilities.

The role requires proficiency in HVAC calculations and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines while ensuring that designs adhere to applicable standards and regulations. Occasional travel for inspections may be necessary. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and delivery of mechanical systems
Perform critical HVAC calculations using advanced tools
Write and maintain comprehensive mechanical specifications
Conduct site visits and inspections for quality assurance
Provide mentorship to junior staff engineers Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
At least 6 years’ experience in HVAC/plumbing
Solid project-specific specification preparation
Knowledge of LEED principles is an asset
P.Eng. registration in Alberta preferred Make a difference by shaping sustainable infrastructure solutions at AECOM.
