Become the Research Assistant/Technician IV for pouch cell prototyping at the UBC Battery Innovation Center. This role encompasses technical leadership and process development in a collaborative environment. With a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and significant hands-on experience in battery manufacturing, you will enhance prototyping capabilities through effective leadership and process refinement.
Your ability to train operators while ensuring compliance with safety standards will contribute directly to successful project outcomes and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and optimization of electrode manufacturing processes
- Manage equipment installation and operator training
- Develop and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Proactively address technical challenges during project execution
- Guide research teams in high-quality project deliverables Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or equivalent
- Minimum four years of experience in battery technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
