The Building Service Worker will report directly to the Ancillary Services Manager, contributing to the safety and cleanliness of student accommodations. Your responsibilities will cover custodial tasks, grounds maintenance, and security management. Essential skills include physical capability, multi-tasking, and excellent interpersonal communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete daily cleaning and sanitation of various areas
• Perform maintenance and report any repair needs
• Maintain security protocols in guest rooms and communal spaces
• Assist in emergency situations like power outages
• Supply replenishment and event setup responsibilities
Requirements:
• High school diploma required
• A Custodial Training Certificate is essential
• WHMIS certification needed and Class 5 Driver’s License
• Minimum of 1-year custodial experience required
• Preferred First Aid Certificate to support safety
