This full time role involves conducting electrical studies and leading design projects for substations and transmission lines. In this pivotal position, you’ll analyze high voltage systems and develop engineering standards to support BC Hydro's infrastructure development.

Work collaboratively with stakeholders and manage project execution while mentoring upcoming engineers in the field. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct electrical studies for grounding and lightning protection
Design and assess high voltage transmission systems
Prepare and review technical reports and drawings
Interface with clients to meet their engineering needs
Oversee and guide contractors' work for compliance Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Canada
Eligible for Skilled Engineer registration in B.C.
Minimum of 8 years experience in electric utilities
Proven leadership and technical writing abilities
Knowledge of relevant electrical design software Support engineering excellence and project innovation as a Senior Engineer at BC Hydro.
