Excavator Operator (Civil / Earthworks)Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced excavator operator for civil / earthworks projects located in Edmonton and area. We offer competitive wages, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, potential for winter work and company matching RRSP program.We do rehabilitation work allowing us tobe less weather dependant and have less downtime due to weather.Hourly Wage:$42Duties include (but are not to):Finish / detailed excavation scopesLoading trucksSite prep for utility installationAdherence to legislation for excavation and trenching requirementsLower materials to pipe crews using proper rigging mechanisms and proceduresOperate equipment in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipmentEnsure work is always done safely,
to the highest quality standard while maintaining strong productionPromote, execute and adhere to the company's safety programDaily equipment inspections and maintenanceConduct oneself in a skilled manner with honesty and integrityRequired Skills:5+ years of experience as a finish operatorMunicipal underground utility experience is an assetExceptionally safety consciousAble to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent / foremanAbility to operate other equipment is an assetStrong communication skillsRequired Certifications:Ground Disturbance Level 2 (required)CSTS 2020 (required)WHMIS 2015 (required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
