Compensation: $25 to $35/hr (depending on experience) + On-call premium package

Position Overview
This unique role offers hands-on experience with state-of-the-art robotic equipment. As a Robot Technician, you will assist with routine maintenance, emergency troubleshooting, and technical support for our dairy farm clients across the region.
This is an ideal role for someone looking for flexible part-time hours, supplemental income, or a doorway into modern agricultural technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Robotic Maintenance & Service: Perform routine preventive maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and repairs on Lely automated dairy equipment.
- System Diagnostics: Efficiently identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software issues to minimize client downtime.
- Certification & Training: Complete specialized training to become a Certified Lely Robot Service Technician (ongoing professional development provided).
- On-Call Support: Participate in a balanced, rotating on-call schedule:
o Weekends: On-call duties 1 in every 3 weekends.
o Weeknights: On-call coverage 1 night per week.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for client site visits).
- Technical Aptitude: Basic computer literacy, comfortable navigating software, running diagnostics, and reading data.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform hands-on mechanical tasks.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to client farms across Ontario and Quebec, including occasional overnight stays (2–3 days/month max).
- Language Skills: Bilingualism (English/French) is a solid asset given our Quebec client base.
- Mindset: A strong desire to learn, adapt to current technologies, and support the local agricultural community.
