Job Summary In this role, you will work closely with partners and senior staff to prepare tax returns, compile financial statements, and maintain accurate client records. Key Responsibilities
Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns
Assist with year-end tax planning
Prepare compilation-level financial statements, including supporting schedules and working papers
Communicate with clients to gather documentation, clarify information, and ensure timely completion of engagements
Research tax issues and apply relevant regulations
Assist in maintaining organized and secure client files
Support partners and managers with ad hoc accounting and tax assignments

Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years of accounting or tax experience (public accounting preferred, but strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered)
Experience with accounting and tax software (e.g.,



CaseWare, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online, Sage)
Familiarity with compilation engagements and workpaper preparation
Strong Excel skills and general computer proficiency
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines—especially during tax season
Strong communication and client-service skills

Preferred:
CPA designation or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a CPA designation is considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
