SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance Lead

Location: Montreal, QC – Local candidates required

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential conversion

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance Lead for a greenfield implementation in the construction industry.

This is a functional leadership role responsible for driving Finance solution design and delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle. The consultant will partner closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to build scalable financial processes for a complex, project-based organization.

Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance design and implementation
Configure and support General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Financial Reporting
Support revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting
Collaborate with SAP Project Systems, integration teams, and business stakeholders
Lead solution-design workshops and business-process discussions
Support testing, cutover, go-live,



and post-production stabilization
Provide functional direction and resolve Finance-related design issues

Required Qualifications
7+ years of SAP Finance experience
Multiple SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations
Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance experience
Construction-industry experience
Solid knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting
Experience with project-based accounting, revenue recognition, or percentage-of-completion processes
Robust communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills
Must be local to the Montreal area

Key: SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and construction-industry experience are mandatory. Private Cloud, on-premise, or general S/4HANA experience alone will not meet the requirement.
