Position Overview:

Golden Arrow School Buses Ltd. is looking to hire a full time, permanent school bus dispatchers to join our dynamic team. This roles involve coordinating school bus transportation schedules, communicating with drivers, and ensuring smooth daily operations. If you have a positive attitude, are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy a structured work environment, this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule available drivers to cover scheduled routes and charters.
Monitor and communicate with Bus Drivers and others concerning such ‘environmental’ information as weather, road hazards, road closings, traffic delays, etc.
Track buses using geographic positioning system (GPS) equipment.
Assign and coordinate school bus schedules for drivers.
Communicate route updates, changes, or issues promptly to drivers.
Monitor bus schedules to ensure timely departures and arrivals.




Handle scheduling disruptions and provide effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and communications.
Act as the main point of contact for drivers, schools, and parents during shifts.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in school bus or transportation dispatching is an asset.
Solid organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Intermediate computer skills (email, scheduling systems, etc.).
Strong attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills

Job Types: Part time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
