The Dr. V.A. Snow Centre is currently seeking qualified applicants for part time& non-guaranteed hours for Personal Support Worker positions.
Qualifications include:
Graduate of a recognized Personal Support Worker Program or equivalent.
Up to date CPR certification.
Experience in geriatric care is essential.
must be available & versatile to work all shifts inclusive of day, evening and night shifts.
must be available to work weekends as per CUPE collective agreement.
Physically able to perform assigned duties.
Good previous work record.
Able to communicate with and care for residents of varying abilities /disabilities and care needs.
RAs play a vital role in caring for our vulnerable population and provide resident focused care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. They work in collaboration with all members of our interdisciplinary team to provide quality, person centered care to our residents.
