Responsibilities include curriculum development and instructional delivery; assessment, evaluation,and maintenance of student progress and academic records; and active participation in student support services and program operational activities.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present learning outcomes and activities in a classroom, laboratory and industry settingParticipate in curriculum development,



program reviews and course reviewsFacilitate the learning process by utilizing instructional strategies that ensure efficient and effective delivery of course materialsManage instructional delivery and set the tone and climate for a safe and effective learning environmentCreate assessment tools to evaluate the learning process and maintain progress recordsProvide ongoing coaching and tutoring for students to maximize student success and retention and respond to student issuesUtilize appropriate educational technology for presentations, communications and program promotionsMaintain professional and ethical relationships with students, colleagues and industry partnersUtilize regular student feedback to identify and implement instructional improvementImprove the quality of instruction through professional development activitiesPrepare and present lessons, lectures and demonstrations to apprenticeship students in all Ironworker streams, including Structural, Reinforcing Steel or Metal Building Systems Erection.Demonstrate procedures and supervise practical shop assignments.
