Transdev Canada is looking for a Safety & Training Manager in Kamloops, BC. Lead the charge in fostering a solid safety culture through effective training and compliance management. In this key role, reporting to the leadership team, you will implement safety and health programs with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes collaboration among managers and employees to ensure safety standards are met and training is delivered effectively. Ideal candidates bring OH&S; expertise and solid communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
Drive the continuous improvement of safety programs
Liaise with WorkSafeBC for claims and inspections
Conduct thorough incident investigations and assessments
Develop and maintain employee training records
Lead safety meetings and promote employee engagement Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
Minimum of 7 years in occupational safety roles
2 years of management experience preferred
Valid Class 5 driver’s license essential
Knowledgeable in Workers Compensation Act and regulations Enhance safety and training programs as part of Transdev Canada’s mission in Kamloops.
