About Food for Good

Food for Good is a dynamic and fast-growing organization delivering nutritious meal programs and innovative food solutions to schools and communities. We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and sales-driven Sales & Brand Representative to help grow our school programs, strengthen customer relationships, and represent the Food for Positive brand in the community.

This is a highly hands-on, field-focused role combining sales, brand representation, customer outreach, relationship management, and client servicing. Approximately 80% of the role (minimum four days per week) will involve field activities, including visiting schools, meeting with administrators and parent councils, conducting outreach, supporting events, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory. Proficiency in English is required, and French proficiency is considered an asset.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & School Outreach

- Identify and engage prospective schools and customers to grow participation in Food for Good programs.
- Conduct in-person outreach, school visits, phone calls, emails, and follow-ups with prospective customers.
- Present Food for Good's programs and value proposition to school administrators, parent councils, and other decision-makers.
- Develop and deliver engaging sales presentations and program demonstrations.
- Follow up consistently with leads and move prospective customers through the sales process.
- Work toward established sales, outreach, and customer acquisition targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities in Salesforce.
- Support re-engagement and renewal efforts with existing and previous school customers.

Brand Representation & Community Engagement

- Act as a professional representative of the Food for Good brand during school visits, community events, meetings, and outreach activities.
- Build awareness of Food for Positive's school meal, nutrition, fundraising, and related programs.
- Communicate the organization's mission, programs, and impact clearly and enthusiastically.
- Support promotional activities, school events, presentations, and community outreach initiatives.
- Gather feedback from schools and customers to help improve messaging, services, and the overall customer experience.
- Help ensure consistent brand messaging across field outreach and customer interactions.

Client Servicing & Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing school customers and community partners.
- Conduct regular site visits and customer check-ins to strengthen relationships and identify additional opportunities.
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned customers and provide responsive, professional customer service.
- Gather customer feedback and proactively identify concerns or service issues.




- Work with internal teams to ensure customer questions and issues are addressed promptly.
- Support schools during program onboarding, implementation, and ongoing participation.
- Maintain regular communication with school administrators, parent councils, and other key contacts.

Sales Administration & CRM Management

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect information in Salesforce.
- Track outreach activities, meetings, calls, follow-ups, opportunities, and sales progress.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and ensure leads receive timely follow-up.
- Prepare sales materials, presentations, outreach communications, and customer follow-ups.
- Use available tools, including AI tools such as ChatGPT, to assist with sales research, outreach preparation, and communication.
- Provide regular updates on outreach activity, customer feedback, opportunities, and sales results.

Field & Operational Support

- Spend approximately 80% of working time in the field, depending on operational and sales requirements.
- Visit schools and other locations to support customer relationships, outreach, presentations, and program activities.
- Support the successful launch and ongoing servicing of school programs when required.
- Communicate field observations and customer feedback to internal teams.
- Assist with resolving customer concerns and coordinating solutions with the appropriate team members.
- Provide reasonable support to day-to-day operations where required to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled fulltime in a post-secondary program.
- Previous sales, customer service, brand ambassador, outreach, or field experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.




- Comfortable conducting cold outreach, following up with leads, and speaking with decision-makers.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or other AI productivity tools is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in English is required; French proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory due to the field-based nature of the position.

Transportation & Travel Access to a personal vehicle is required for field work. Regular travel to schools and other locations will be required. Eligible travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

SWPP Eligibility NOTE: This position is funded through the Government of Canada's Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). Candidates must meet applicable SWPP eligibility requirements, including being a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Candidates will be required to confirm their eligibility.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
