About the Role

We are looking for a Sales & Design Associate to join our custom picture framing team. This is a customer-facing role for someone who combines a natural talent for design, sales, organization, and exceptional customer service.

At Le Frame Shoppe, we believe that life is better framed. We’re looking for a creative, organized, and personable Sales & Design Associate who shares that mindset. With a strong focus on project coordination and client management, you’ll help ensure each project moves seamlessly from consultation through completion. If that sounds like you, we’d love to welcome you to our custom framing team in Dorval and/or Westmount.

You will be the first point of contact for many of our clients. Whether they visit the shop, call, email, or book an appointment online, your role is to understand each client's project, style, needs, and budget, then guide them toward a thoughtful and beautiful framing solution.

From the initial consultation through production and final pickup, you will own the client experience and work closely with our workshop team to ensure every project is completed accurately, on time, and to our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Sales

- Welcome and assist clients in-store, by phone, email, and online appointments.
- Consult with clients to understand their artwork, style, goals, budget, and project requirements.
- Recommend customized framing solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
- Build solid, lasting client relationships through knowledgeable and attentive service.
- Secure deposits and accurately process sales.
- Enter client information, project details, design specifications, and notes into the POS system.
- Identify opportunities for additional sales and future projects.
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients to nurture relationships and generate repeat business.
- Represent the company professionally and help promote our social media presence,



including Instagram and Facebook.

Project Coordination

- Manage the client relationship from initial consultation through final pickup and follow-up.
- Communicate project details, special instructions, and required deadlines to the workshop team (production).
- Coordinate with production regarding special requests, backorders, changes, and deadlines.
- Confirm with production before committing to client deadlines outside our standard turnaround times.
- Keep clients informed throughout production and communicate any changes or delays promptly.
- Monitor projects to help ensure deadlines are met.
- Contact clients when projects are complete and arrange pickup.
- Generate final invoices and ensure outstanding balances are collected.
- Send post-pickup thank-you communications and encourage satisfied clients to leave a Google review.​ Every client interaction is an opportunity to strengthen the relationship, create future business, and provide an exceptional experience.

Quality Control & Project Presentation

Before contacting a client for pickup:

- Review the completed project against the original design and specifications.
- Inspect the finished piece for quality, including moulding condition, artwork placement, scratches, damage, and overall presentation.
- Communicate any concerns to the appropriate team member and ensure they are addressed before pickup.
- Properly wrap and corner-protect completed projects for client pickup.

Photography & Marketing

- Photograph projects before and after framing.
- Maintain organized project photo albums.
- Help identify opportunities to showcase completed work on our social media platforms.
- Help generate leads through client follow-up, referrals, social media, and other opportunities.

Shop & Studio Organization

Help maintain a clean,



organized, and inspiring showroom and workspace, including:

- Keeping moulding displays organized and properly positioned.
- Cleaning or updating moulding samples as needed, including removing discontinued or backordered samples as directed.
- Keeping the design consultation area clean and organized.
- Dusting, sweeping, and maintaining the overall presentation of the shop.
- Ensuring the showroom consistently reflects the quality and professionalism of our brand.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who:

- Is passionate about design, art, interiors, and visual aesthetics.
- Truly enjoys working with people and providing exceptional customer service.
- Has solid communication and organizational skills.
- Is bilingual in French and English.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in the quality of their work.
- Is confident making recommendations and guiding clients toward purchasing decisions.
- Is comfortable learning and using POS and other digital systems.
- Takes initiative and can work independently without constant supervision.
- Works well as part of a collaborative, fast-moving team.
- Takes personal responsibility for their projects and follows through on commitments.
- Is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Has a positive, creative, solutions-oriented attitude.
- Sees what needs to be done and takes initiative rather than waiting to be asked.
- Experience in custom framing, retail, interior design, visual merchandising, art, or a related field is an asset, but we are open to the right candidate with the right attitude and aptitude.
