About Us

Moselle is autonomous inventory and operations!

Moselle is an automated solution designed to simplify inventory planning and management. It empowers merchants to optimize their inventory replenishment and allocation effortlessly. In short, we help businesses determine the right quantity of products to order, the best timing for restocking, and how to efficiently place orders with their suppliers.

We're AI-native by design. Our platform doesn't just surface forecasts — it runs agentic workflows that plan, decide, and act on behalf of operators. That makes the work of getting a customer live fundamentally different from traditional SaaS onboarding, and it's why this role exists.

Role Overview

We're hiring a Sales Engineer to own the technical and operational success of our customers from pre-sale through post-sale — running POVs, leading technical onboarding, configuring and tuning AI workflows, and driving real adoption and expansion outcomes.

You'll be embedded with customers to make AI work in production, not just in a demo. Your primary objective is to support revenue growth and product adoption by partnering closely with Customer Success Managers to clearly articulate Moselle's value, capabilities, and technical fit.

Responsibilities

Pre-Sale & Solution Design

- Run proof-of-value engagements against customer data, with clearly defined success criteria
- Define solution architecture, workflows, and success criteria before onboarding begins
- Speak credibly to the platform's architecture — how it integrates with a customer's existing tech stack, and how it lets them handle plan complexity and change

Onboarding & Data Configuration
- Lead the technical work stream of onboarding — data mapping,

integration setup, and environment configuration.
- Build and validate integrations across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, ERPs, and 3PLs
- Configure data pipelines and warehouse connections (Snowflake, BigQuery, and similar), writing SQL to validate and reconcile customer data
- Diagnose and resolve data quality issues that would otherwise undermine forecast accuracy

AI Workflow Configuration & Performance
- Configure, tune, and monitor AI agents and workflows against each customer's operating model
- Track agent performance in production — accuracy, edge cases, drift — and iterate to keep outputs trustworthy
- Translate a customer's real planning workflow into a system configuration that holds up under change
- Hack together fast, creative prototypes to demonstrate what's possible when the standard path doesn't fit

Adoption, Expansion & Collaboration
- Drive genuine adoption: get planners and operators using AI to make decisions, not just view dashboards
- Lead technical working sessions with practitioners and hold the room in executive QBRs
- Identify expansion opportunities surfaced through technical depth in the account
- Work closely with sales, customer success, product, and engineering to close the loop between field reality and roadmap
- Feed patterns from the field back into repeatable playbooks, reference architectures, and internal tooling

Qualifications

- 3+ years in a Sales Engineer,

Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or technical implementation role at a B2B SaaS company
- AI-fluent: You understand how AI models work and can speak confidently about them with customers
- Technical: Comfortable reading API docs, debugging JSON payloads, writing SQL, and working hands-on with messy customer data
- Operational: You can map a customer's workflow, translate it into a system configuration, and drive the change management needed to make AI stick
- Customer-facing: You can lead a technical working session and hold the room in an executive QBR
- Experience with data warehousing and integration work (Snowflake, dbt, ETL tooling, or equivalent)

Nice to Have

- Supply chain, inventory planning, demand forecasting, or retail operations background
- Passion for consumer brands and the e-commerce landscape
- Experience with BI tooling (Looker, Metabase, Hex) or light scripting in Python
- Comfort operating in ambiguity — this is an early-stage role with real ownership and few established playbooks
- You stay ahead of AI trends, experiment with the latest tools and techniques, and know that delivering AI in the wild takes iteration, curiosity, and a builder's mindset

Compensation and Benefits

- $80K - 110K CAD plus performance bonus
- Equity options available
- Flexible working hours
- Annual HSA

We believe in hiring right over hiring rapid. While timelines may vary, we're looking to fill this role as soon as possible.

Our hiring process uses AI to help with initial resume screening and to support interview note-taking. These tools help our team stay organized and fair, but all hiring decisions are made by people.
