Community Residential Living Board is a dedicated community residential living facility that provides quality care and support to adults with disabilities. Our mission is to foster a safe, nurturing, and empowering setting where residents can achieve their full potential. We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Casual Relief Residential Support workers.

Position Overview: As a Relief Staff member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our full time team by stepping in during absences, vacations, or peak times. You will assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of residents, providing support with daily living activities, personal care, and recreational activities.

Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with disabilities
Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
Prepare nutritious meals
Perform cleaning tasks to maintain a secure and hygienic environment




Assist with household chores and errands as needed
Document care provided and communicate effectively with the team
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure client well-being

Requirements
Human Service Counsellor Diploma ; or eqivalent experience working with adults with disabilities
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a care giving role would be considered an asset.
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends if required
Valid criminal record check and ability to pass any necessary screening processes
Basic caregiving skills such as cleaning, meal preparation, and personal hygiene assistance are essential
First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Valid Drivers License

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Casual Pay: From $24.87 per hour
