The Research Ethics
Analyst will play a pivotal role in addressing emerging ethical concerns in research. With a background in research ethics, you will develop guidance documents, standard operating procedures, and educational resources for the research community. Collaborating closely with researchers and the Research Ethics Lead, you will ensure compliance with TCPS2 and institutional policies while fostering ethical research practices. Key Responsibilities:
Identify ethical barriers influencing research guidance documents
Develop SOPs for ethical research in the OPOR workplace
Facilitate education sessions for researchers and ethics board members
Serve as the primary contact for OPOR and PowerTrials guidance
Regularly update the Research Ethics Team on emerging concerns Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's in health-related field required
OPOR PowerTrials experience essential
TCPS2 training needed
Experience in a research workplace required
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Contribute your expertise in research ethics and data governance to enhance the integrity of research at IWK Health.
