Work Model: Hybrid (Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Montreal preferred)
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to support and maintain critical SAP environments for a leading enterprise client in Montreal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP systems and landscapes
- Perform SAP Basis administration activities across Development, QA, and Production environments
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues
- Execute SAP kernel upgrades, support packages, and system refresh activities
- Manage transports and coordinate release deployments
- Perform system copies, client administration, and patch management
- Ensure high availability, system security, backup, and disaster recovery readiness
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database,
and application teams to optimize SAP performance
- Support incident resolution and participate in on-call activities when required
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Administrator
- Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments
- Knowledge of SAP system upgrades, migrations, and refresh activities
- Experience working with SAP on HANA databases is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and database administration concepts
- Strong understanding of transport management and system monitoring
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
