The opportunity Owns end-to-end design and delivery of the Core Finance workstream on S/4HANA Public Cloud for Professional Services across the full finance footprint — record to report, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, project accounting and S/4 finance reporting. Accountable for a chart of accounts and posting model that serves both statutory reporting and the firm internal engagement economics, and for the Finance side of the Engagement Management interlock.

The candidate may be required to travel to Toronto Office once in a while to participate in fit gap design sessions and testing activities.

What You Will Do

- Lead fit-to-standard workshops across the full finance scope; own gap disposition, design decisions and business sign-off
- Own the core financial design: chart of accounts, ledger and company code structure,



document types, and the universal journal posting model
- Own R2R end to end — period close, intercompany, accruals, allocations and the close calendar
- Own AP, AR, fixed assets and project accounting design, including approval flows and bank/payment integration
- Own the Finance side of the Engagement Management interlock —
- WIP, billing postings, revenue recognition and reconciliation, jointly with the EM workstream lead
- Own S/4 embedded finance reporting design and the boundary with the Reporting, Data &
- Analytics workstream
- Manage workstream scope, plan, deliverables, RAID and SI team; represent Finance at Design Authority Council
- Own finance data migration strategy, testing, cutover and the first close post go-live

Your Qualifications

- 12–15+ years total; 8+ in SAP Finance; 4+ leading a Finance workstream through go-live.
- Full-lifecycle S/4HANA Finance workstream lead across the complete finance scope, not a single module
- Deep universal journal and new GL knowledge; chart of accounts design at multi-entity scale
- Statutory and management reporting fluency
- IFRS, with revenue recognition depth (IFRS 15)




- Proven ownership of the finance-to-operational interlock — project or services postings, WIP, revenue
- Leadership of consultants, business SMEs, controllers and an SI team concurrently

Preferred

- Public Cloud Edition; professional services or partnership environments
- CPA or strong statutory accounting depth
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification; bilingual (EN/FR)
- Canadian statutory and indirect tax exposure (GST/HST/QST).
