The prospect Owns fixed assets, internal project accounting and cost allocation structures, and acts as Finance dedicated support to the Reporting, Data &

- Analytics workstream — making sure the finance data model produces the reporting the business actually needs rather than what falls out of the configuration by accident.

The candidate may be required to travel to Toronto Office once in a while to participate in fit gap design sessions and testing activities.

What You Will Do

- Own fixed assets design and configuration: asset classes, depreciation areas and methods, capitalization rules, leases, transfers, retirements and the asset close
- Own internal project accounting — capital and internal projects, WBS structures, settlement rules, capitalization and project close
- Support the allocation model as design partner to R2R — maintain cost centre and profit centre hierarchies, validate driver data quality, and confirm allocated results reconcile in reporting. R2R owns the model; this role owns the structures it runs on
- Serve as the Finance counterpart to Reporting, Data &
- Analytics: define finance data requirements, validate the semantic layer against source postings, and confirm reports reconcile to the GL
- Own S/4 embedded analytics for finance — standard Fiori apps, KPI tiles,



custom CDS-based reports within public cloud limits
- Lead fit-to-standard sessions for assets and projects scope; document design and secure business sign-off
- Own test scenarios for asset lifecycle and project settlement; support asset and project master data migration and opening balances

Your Qualifications

- 8–12 years total; 5+ in SAP Finance with assets and projects depth; two or more full lifecycles.
- Two or more full-lifecycle S/4HANA Finance implementations with fixed assets and project accounting ownership
- Hands-on asset accounting configuration including depreciation and the asset close
- Hierarchy design, with judgement on cost drivers rather than mechanical cycle building
- Genuine reporting fluency — has defined finance reporting requirements and validated output back to source, not just consumed reports

- CDS views, embedded analytics or SAC exposure
- IFRS 16 lease accounting
- CPA or strong accounting depth; bilingual (EN/FR).
