The opportunity Owns end-to-end design and delivery of the Engagement Management workstream on S/4HANA Public Cloud, built on the SAP Professional Services template. Accountable for the project-to-cash process — engagement setup, resource and time capture, WIP, billing and revenue recognition — and for the two integration points that make or break the stream: inbound pricing data and the handoff into S/4 Finance.
The candidate may be required to travel to Toronto Office once in a while to participate in fit gap design sessions and testing activities.
What You Will Do
- Lead fit-to-standard workshops against the Professional Services template; own gap disposition and the case for any extension
- Own the project-to-cash design end to end, including engagement structures, billing models and revenue recognition treatment
- Define and govern the inbound integration from the national pricing tool — data model, mapping, frequency, error handling, reconciliation
- Own the Engagement Management to Finance integration, working jointly with the Finance workstream lead on the postings and reconciliation model
- Manage workstream scope, plan, deliverables and RAID; represent the stream at Design Authority Council
- Lead the business SMEs and process owners through design decisions and sign-off
- Own testing strategy, cutover and data migration for the stream; drive adoption readiness with change management
Your Qualifications
- 12–15+ years total; 8+ in SAP professional services / project systems; 4+ leading a workstream
- S/4HANA Professional Services delivery lead on at least one full lifecycle, ideally two
- Deep project-to-cash knowledge: engagement lifecycle, WIP, billing, revenue recognition (IFRS 15 / ASC 606)
- Demonstrated ownership of third-party integrations, not just consumption of them
- Workstream leadership: managing consultants, SMEs and an SI team concurrently
Preferred Public Cloud Edition; professional services firm experience (Big Four, law, engineering, agency); SAP Professional Services Cloud or S/4HANA Professional Services certification; exposure to Certinia or similar pricing/PSA tools; bilingual (EN/FR). Our Values, The KPMG Way
