The opportunity Owns the technical delivery of the program across architecture, integration, data and engineering. Accountable for how S/4HANA connects to the wider firm estate — pricing, HR, identity, collaboration and downstream analytics — and for the data that moves into it. A broad enterprise technology leader who happens to be delivering an SAP program, not an SAP specialist stretched into an architecture title. The candidate may be required to travel to Toronto Office once in a while to participate in fit gap design sessions and testing activities.

What You Will Do

- Own the end-to-end solution architecture: S/4HANA in the context of the firm application landscape, integration patterns, and the target-state technology roadmap
- Own the integration strategy and delivery — inbound pricing tool feed, HR and identity, banking, collaboration platforms and downstream reporting; select patterns (API, event, batch) and hold the standards
- Own data migration and data cleansing end to end: strategy, profiling,



cleansing execution with the business, mapping, load cycles, reconciliation and mock-run governance
- Own workflow and interface design across the estate, including approval flows spanning SAP and non-SAP systems
- Own technical extensibility governance on public cloud — in-app versus side-by-side, BTP footprint, and the standing case against custom build
- Own security architecture and role design interlock, identity and access management, and single sign-on
- Own environment and landscape management, transport/release process, and the quarterly SAP release cycle
- Own technical non-functional requirements: performance, availability, monitoring, and the cyber and data residency posture for Canadian data
- Lead architects, integration developers, data engineers and the SI technical team; represent Technology at Design Authority Council

Your Qualifications

- 12–15+ years total; 5+ in enterprise architecture or technology leadership; at least one full-lifecycle ERP program in a senior technical role.
- Enterprise technology leadership across a broad estate — architecture, integration and data — not confined to SAP
- Delivered ERP-scale integration on a modern middleware platform: SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services or equivalent
- Owned data migration and cleansing at enterprise scale,



including the business-side cleansing effort, which is where these programs actually slip
- Cloud architecture fluency (Azure, AWS or GCP) and SaaS integration patterns
- Security, identity and access management at enterprise level
- Led technical teams of mixed skills across employees, contractors and an SI

Preferred S/4HANA Public Cloud specifically, including BTP and extensibility limits; qualified services or partnership environments; Microsoft-centric estates (Azure, Entra ID, Power Platform); TOGAF or equivalent; Canadian data residency and privacy exposure; bilingual (EN/FR).
