Maple Sheds Ltd. is a growing Ontario-based company specializing in outdoor storage sheds and related products. We provide customers with practical storage solutions while focusing on reliable products, clear communication and responsive after-sales support.
We are looking for an organized, customer-focused and dependable Seasonal Inside Sales & Order Coordinator to join our team for the 2026 fall season.
This position combines inside sales, customer service and order coordination. The successful candidate will support customers from their initial inquiry through quotation, order confirmation, delivery coordination and after-sales follow-up.
The position may also occasionally involve assisting with product handling during shipping and order preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Answer incoming telephone calls, emails, website inquiries, Facebook inquiries and customer messages professionally and promptly.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable shed models, sizes, materials and available options.
- Explain product features, pricing, availability, delivery options, warranty coverage and Company policies accurately.
- Prepare clear and accurate quotations based on customer requirements.
- Follow up with prospective customers regarding outstanding quotations and purchase decisions.
- Build positive customer relationships and provide a helpful, low-pressure sales experience.
- Maintain current knowledge of Maple Sheds products, promotions, inventory and delivery procedures.
Order Processing & Coordination
- Create, review and process customer orders accurately.
- Verify product models, quantities, prices, customer contact information, delivery addresses and order details.
- Coordinate orders with management, inventory, warehouse and delivery personnel.
- Confirm product availability and communicate expected pickup or delivery timelines.
- Coordinate customer pickups and deliveries with approved transportation providers.
- Monitor active orders and promptly communicate delays, availability changes or delivery issues.
- Maintain organized records of quotations, orders, deliveries and customer communications.
After-Sales Support
- Respond to customer questions after delivery in a professional and solution-focused manner.
- Collect relevant information and photographs for damaged, missing or incorrect product-part claims.
- Maintain service and warranty case information.
- Coordinate approved replacement parts or other solutions with management, suppliers, warehouse staff and customers.
- Explain warranty procedures and customer responsibilities using approved Company information.
- Escalate complex complaints, refund requests, payment disputes or unusual warranty matters to management.
Shipping & Product Handling
- Occasionally assist with order preparation and shipping activities.
- Occasionally lift, move or assist with handling packages weighing up to approximately 50 lb.
- Assist with verifying customer orders and products during pickup or shipping.
- Follow all Company warehouse and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, order processing or a related position is preferred, but not required.
- Experience obtained outside Canada and other transferable experience will be considered.
- Strong telephone, email and in-person communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with customers and explaining product information.
- Strong attention to detail when entering customer information, prices, quantities and delivery details.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple customer inquiries and orders.
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or similar business software.
- Able to work independently while communicating effectively with management, warehouse staff and delivery providers.
- Reliable, punctual and organized.
- Able to remain professional when handling customer complaints or changing delivery circumstances.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must be available to work for the full seasonal employment period from September 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026.
Additional language skills and previous experience with outdoor products, storage products, building materials,
logistics or e-commerce are considered assets but are not required.
Performance Expectations
Success in this position will be assessed using reasonable and job-related factors including:
- Accuracy of quotations and customer orders
- Timeliness of customer responses and follow-up
- Sales and quote-to-order conversion
- Quality of customer communication
- Accuracy and completeness of customer and order records
- Effective coordination of pickups and deliveries
- Proper escalation of customer concerns
- Attendance and reliability
- Compliance with Company policies, privacy requirements and applicable laws
Compensation & Performance Bonus The position pays $18.50 per hour.
The employee may also be considered for a discretionary performance-based sales bonus based on factors such as individual sales performance, customer service, order accuracy, reliability and overall contribution during the seasonal employment period.
Performance bonuses are not guaranteed and may vary based on individual performance and business results.
Seasonal Employment Term
This is a fixed-term seasonal position beginning September 1, 2026 and ending November 30, 2026.
Employment is expected to conclude at the end of the stated seasonal term.
Based on business needs and employee performance, Maple Sheds Ltd. may consider the successful candidate for future employment opportunities. However, extension of this position, re-employment for a future season or conversion to a permanent position is not guaranteed.
