CADS/Connex - Lead/Senior Mainframe QE Analyst (CrossCheck)Job#: 3047242Client: Top 5 BankLocation: Downtown Toronto, ONHybrid/Onsite: Remote with flexibility hybridEngagement Type: 6-12 month contract-to-hirePosition OverviewA financial-services organization is seeking senior Quality Engineering professionals to lead end-to-end testing across complex debit-card and payment-processing platforms.Specific Functions of This RoleLead quality engineering assignments independently, with proven abilities to identify issues quickly based on existing experience and knowledgeStrong E2E capabilities and understanding of dynamic, complex technical environmentsWork on complex projects impacting core banking operations, with focus on debit card related projectsProvide senior level technical analysis and support for E2E project teamsResponsibilitiesLead quality-engineering assignments independently.Design and execute end-to-end tests across integrated payment systems.Validate debit-card authorization, transaction routing, clearing, and settlement.Test online, batch, host, and network-processing components.Identify defects quickly using prior domain and technical knowledge.Perform defect analysis and support root-cause investigation.Coordinate testing across multiple systems and stakeholder groups.Provide senior technical analysis to delivery teams.Mentor other quality-engineering professionals.Support large payment enhancement and modernization initiatives.QualificationsIn-depth knowledge of mainframe testing tools, network transaction processing, defect management and quality engineering methodologies10 - 15+ years of quality engineering/assurance with senior mainframe quality engineering or testing experience.Knowledge of CrossCheck is an assetEnd-to-end payment, debit-card,
