We are seeking a Senior Accountant (CPA) with robust expertise in QuickBooks Online and full-cycle accounting. We are focused on Tax Accounting, Compilation and Review Engagements. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with public practice experience to work in a client-focused environment that genuinely invests in its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including journal entries and trial balance preparation
- Perform bank, AR, AP, and expense reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and compilation engagements.
- Prepare and review GST returns
- Work directly with clients, resolve queries, and ensure timely follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards
- Support and review work of junior staff
Requirements
- CPA designation (required, New Graduates Welcome)
- Minimum 2-3 year Canadian Experience in a Public Practice Accounting Firm is a REQUIREMENT for this position though Training is provided for all aspects of the job.
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (Required)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
