Responsibilities
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and proper dental care
Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
Assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working workplace
Skills:
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for performing exact dental procedures
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and equipment
Ability to educate patients on oral health practices and answer their questions
Proficient in using dental software for recordkeeping and scheduling
