The Parks & Recreation Department is seeking skilled and self-motivated workers for auxiliary positions setting up gymnastics equipment and teaching Gymnastics & Trampoline in our recreation programs. Queen’s Park Sportsplex offers progressive skill-based lessons for participants 2.5 years to adults.
If you have the following characteristics and qualifications, we want to hear from you:
At least 15 years of age
Experience setting up and moving gymnastics equipment and trampolines
Experience working with children in a recreation setting
Strong gymnastics or trampoline background
Ability to work effectively within a team setting
Ability to prepare and execute daily lesson plans
Ability to give written evaluations of students
Ability to successfully pass and maintain a transparent Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
Previous related experience or course work within the field or recreation or teaching experience will be given priority.
Applicants must be available for Saturday morning equipment set-up
