Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing environments, including nursing homes, hospitals, and clinic settings. As an RPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting individuals across diverse age groups and medical conditions, including pediatric patients and our Family Health Organization (FHO) practices.

Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing needs under the direction of physicians.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Conduct vital signs, administer injections, immunization management, and specimen collection/testing.
Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Ocean and Telus PS Suites EMR.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options and follow-ups.




Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical supplies/equipment.
Sterlization of medical tools/equipment.

Qualifications
Current registration in positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Completion of an approved Practical Nursing program.
Minimum 1 year experience in a family practice or clinical setting preferred.
CPR Certification - BLS Certified
Familiarity with paediatric primary care and/or family practice settings is an asset.
Experience with electronic health record systems such as Telus PS Suites is an asset.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on enhancing quality of life for individuals across all age groups.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
