Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a

Senior Business Intelligence / Data Architect with robust hands-on experience in

Power BI development, data architecture, business intelligence, and enterprise data solutions

. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with business analysis and stakeholder management skills to deliver scalable, high-performing BI and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise

Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models

.

- Develop complex

DAX, Power Query, and data models to support business reporting and analytics.

- Design and implement enterprise data architectures, data warehouses, and reporting solutions

.

- Apply dimensional modeling, star schemas, and enterprise data warehouse design principles.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into effective BI solutions.

- Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify and resolve data issues, defects, and business reporting challenges.

- Design scalable and high-performing

Power BI semantic models and enterprise reporting architectures

.

- Work with

Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and SQL Server

.

- Implement data governance, security, data quality, and performance optimization strategies.

- Lead BI initiatives and provide technical guidance and mentorship to BI developers.





- Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify opportunities for BI enhancements and improvements.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics

.

- 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience

.

- 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture

.

- Expert-level

DAX, Power Query, and Power BI data modeling skills.

- Advanced

SQL and data warehouse development experience.

- Strong experience designing enterprise semantic models and reporting architectures

.

- Expert knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and enterprise data warehouse design

.

- Strong hands-on experience with

Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and SQL Server

.

- Proven experience implementing data governance, security, data quality, and performance optimization strategies.

- Strong experience working with business teams to gather and analyze requirements for BI enhancements and defect resolution.

- Experience performing deep-dive data analysis to resolve data issues and answer business questions.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

- Experience mentoring developers and leading

Business Intelligence initiatives

- 3+ years of public sector or healthcare experience
