Join Providence Manor as a Registered Nurse in a casual capacity, dedicated to delivering quality care for long-term residents. Your expertise will improve the lives of those in our care. In this role, you will coordinate high standards of resident-centered care under the guidance of the Director of Care. You are expected to lead nursing staff, engage with families, and ensure adherence to the Residents’ Bill of Rights.
Skills in dementia care and palliative support are beneficial for your role in care delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor Registered Practical Nurses
Support resident advocacy and enhance care plans
Communicate effectively with care teams and families
Oversee daily care processes with dignity and respect
Provide clinical nursing expertise across all care activities Requirements:
Unrestricted registration with Ontario's College of Nurses
Minimum of an RN diploma; BScN advantageous
CPR and First-Aid certifications up to date
Experience in dementia care and palliative settings preferred
