Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing educational workplace. This role involves leading a classroom in implementing curriculum, supervising children, and fostering a safe and engaging space for learning and growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, especially those with diverse needs, and possess a caring, patient demeanor.

This position involves supporting the Montessori learning philosophy.

Duties
Support classroom activities by helping plan and execute age-appropriate lessons and play-based learning experiences
Supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
Provide individualized care and attention to children, including those with disabilities or special needs
Help maintain a clean, organized classroom setting that promotes learning and safety
Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to monitor children's progress and address their developmental needs




Support positive behavior management strategies and encourage social-emotional development
Assist with feeding, diapering, or toileting routines as needed in accordance with health guidelines
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's daily activities and well-being

Experience
Prior classroom experience working with young children is preferred
Demonstrated caregiving skills, patience, and a nurturing attitude toward children
Familiarity with developmental milestones and age-specific activities for early learners

Qualifications
Registered ECE or equivalent
Standard First Aid & CPR C
Up to date immunizations
Recent Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 mos)

Job Types: Full-time, Part time Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
