Provide essential nutrition counseling at Anson General Hospital as a Registered Dietitian & Diabetes Educator. Focus on personalized care while promoting diabetes management and patient wellness. Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition/Diabetes Program Lead, you'll enhance patient understanding of diabetes through effective education. This role requires a blend of independent practice and collaboration with a skilled healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
Assess nutritional needs and provide tailored counseling
Collaborate with healthcare specialists to create care plans
Educate patients and families on diabetes management techniques
Document patient interactions and care outcomes accurately
Ensure adherence to program and skilled standards Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics with internship completion
Certification as a Diabetes Educator preferred
Clinical dietetic experience considered an asset
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
