Become the Project Specialist for Safety Engineering at IPEX in Mississauga. Utilize your engineering expertise to drive health and safety initiatives across Ontario manufacturing sites. This role focuses on supporting diverse safety projects, ensuring compliance and enhancing machine safety. You will conduct risk assessments and lead project delivery while collaborating with various teams to achieve operational performance and reliability within budget. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing safety engineering projects
Support compliance with health and safety legislation
Prepare engineering project documentation
Collaborate with contractors for effective communication
Monitor project risks and performance metrics Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical
At least 3 years of engineering experience
Experience with AutoCAD and 3D perception
Solid stakeholder management and leadership skills
Willingness to travel up to 30% within Ontario Drive continuous improvement and make a positive impact on workplace safety at IPEX.
