Drive your technical career as a Weekend Boring Mill Technician at Collins Aerospace in Oakville, Ontario. This role focuses on precision machining and CNC operations during night shifts.
As part of the Advanced Structures team, you will produce high-quality aircraft parts while adhering to strict operational standards. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, your responsibilities include manual setups, quality documentation, and adjustments as needed. Work collaboratively to enhance efficiency and uphold the safety protocols necessary in aerospace manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up machinery according to specifications using CNC programming
• Maintain accurate production logs and documentation




• Conduct self-inspections and make necessary machine adjustments
• Support 5S and continuous improvement practices
• Perform additional machining duties as assigned
Requirements:
• High school diploma with 3 years machining experience
• Knowledgeable in blueprint interpretation and precision measuring
• Must meet ITAR and CCGP requirements for Canadian work
• Secure operation of overhead cranes
• Preferred: 5 Axis Machining experience
