This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Product Manager, Data & Intelligence based in Canada.
This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on building trusted, scalable, and actionable enterprise data products.
You’ll operate at the intersection of business strategy, data, analytics, and engineering to turn complex needs into transparent product outcomes.
The role offers ownership of product roadmaps, discovery, prioritization, requirements, and delivery across sophisticated data and intelligence initiatives.
You’ll work closely with engineering, data science, analytics, BI, and governance teams in a highly collaborative workplace.
Your work will help improve data quality, intelligence, scalability, and decision-making across the enterprise.
You’ll also have the chance to shape reusable platforms, governed datasets, analytical products, and AI-enabled business capabilities.
This role is ideal for an experienced product leader who thrives on ambiguity, strategic problem-solving, and measurable business impact.

Accountabilities
- Translate strategic business objectives and stakeholder needs into clear product roadmaps, plans, epics, releases, and actionable requirements.
- Lead product discovery with business and technical stakeholders to understand user needs, use cases, workflows, dependencies, and desired outcomes.
- Own product prioritization by balancing customer and business value, strategic alignment, technical feasibility, dependencies, and implementation effort.
- Partner closely with Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, Data Engineers, Analysts, Data Scientists, Business Intelligence teams, and Data Governance specialists throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage product backlogs, requirements, dependencies, risks, acceptance criteria, release readiness, and stakeholder communications in an Agile workplace.
- Ensure technical solutions remain aligned with defined business outcomes, user needs, scalability expectations, and product objectives.
- Drive alignment across business and technical teams by clearly communicating priorities, decisions, trade-offs, risks, and delivery progress.
- Establish feedback loops and success measures to continuously improve product quality, adoption, scalability, and business impact.
- Identify opportunities for standardization, reuse, simplification, and automation to reduce fragmented or one-off solutions.
- Turn ambiguous strategic objectives and complex business problems into clear, prioritized, and executable plans for technical delivery teams.
- Drive the development of trusted, reusable, and scalable data and intelligence products that support go-to-market and enterprise decision-making.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Product Manager, or in a comparable role working with technically complex products.
- Strong experience translating strategic business objectives into actionable product roadmaps, product plans, and delivery priorities.
- Proven stakeholder management experience across both business and technical teams, including the ability to influence without relying on formal authority.
- Hands-on experience working with analytics and data science products and initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of product discovery, roadmap development, prioritization, requirements definition, and lifecycle management.
- Experience managing epics, releases, product backlogs, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and delivery processes within Agile environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous stakeholder needs and business challenges into clear, executable product plans.
- Experience partnering closely with engineering and technical development teams to deliver complex products.
- Working knowledge of data models, data pipelines, APIs, data quality, data governance, analytical platforms, or enterprise data products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in at least one relevant data product domain, such as Customer Data Governance, Master Data Management, Customer 360, customer identity, entity resolution, account hierarchies, or data quality and reconciliation.
- Experience with enterprise data and analytics platforms, governed datasets, shared metrics, BI products, embedded analytics, data enrichment, or AI-enabled data experiences is highly valuable.
- Background in predictive analytics, machine learning, recommendation or scoring products, model explainability, experimentation, or operationalizing analytical insights is an advantage.
- Experience with data warehouses, lakehouse environments, Salesforce or other CRM platforms, third-party data ingestion, automated controls, or globally distributed enterprise environments is a plus.
- Strong product judgment, strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
