Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning fresh produce and other food items for daily service
Assist with cooking tasks such as assembling dishes, following recipes, and ensuring proper presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station, including sanitizing surfaces and tools regularly
Support food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen fully equipped for service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature controls
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety practices
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment
Robust attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization in the kitchen setting
