We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, maintain, and modernize legacy .NET applications across Windows and cloud/OpenShift environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain legacy .NET applications on Windows 10/11 and Windows Servers.
- Support desktop application components and cloud-hosted application environments.
- Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve applications, and enhance automation.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes.
- Address security vulnerabilities and refactor legacy code.
- Document application updates and changes.
- Collaborate with business partners, Agile squads, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
- Work with teams and stakeholders across Canada and globally.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience with .NET technologies
- Strong experience with C# / .NET
- Experience developing and maintaining Windows and cloud-hosted applications
- Experience with OpenShift
- Robust knowledge of OAuth, Active Directory, and Application Certificates
- Experience with HTTP, SOAP, and REST
- Understanding of XML structures and data layouts
- Strong troubleshooting, RCA, vulnerability remediation, and legacy code refactoring experience
