We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert patient care, and ensuring protected medication management within a hospital or clinical setting. Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctor’s orders and hospital protocols
Provide expert consultation to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication usage, potential interactions, and side effects
Ensure compliance with all medical and pharmaceutical regulations, including proper documentation and record-keeping
Collaborate with medical teams to develop and review medication plans tailored to individual patient needs
Monitor patient responses to prescribed treatments, adjusting medication plans as necessary for optimal outcomes
Educate patients and their families on medication management,
especially in pediatric and acute care cases
Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology, drug interactions, and current pharmaceutical practices to ensure safe medication administration
Requirements
Valid pharmacist license in the relevant jurisdiction with current registration status
Hospital experience preferred, with a strong background in acute care settings
Experience working with pediatric patients highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional patient care with attention to detail and safety
Solid understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
Proven skills in medication administration within a clinical environment
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and educate patients
