Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately while verifying dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Monitor patient responses to prescribed medications and adjust treatments in accordance with medical directives.
Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, medication inventories, and patient interactions in compliance with legal standards.
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines related to medication storage,
handling, and disposal.
Educate patients and staff on medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and new pharmaceutical developments.
Support hospital or clinical teams by participating in interdisciplinary rounds and contributing pharmacological expertise.
Requirements
Valid pharmacist licensure with relevant regulatory authorities.
Demonstrated experience working within pediatric or general patient care settings.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and pharmaceutical regulations.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
