The Old Port of Montréal Corporation is the number one recreational tourism company in Montréal. We have the privilege of managing two iconic sites that showcase the city: the Old Port of Montréal and the Montréal Science Centre. WHAT ARE THE EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS?
Schedule: Between 0 and 40 hours, varying day/evening/night shifts and weekends
Contract :
9-Month Contract: From now until April 24, 2027 (2 positions available)
Status: Casual - unionized
Salary: $23.94 (Class 4)

WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE ON THE SECURITY AND MOBILITY TEAM?
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals
Patrol the Science Centre or the site (on foot, by car, or golf cart) and interact with various client groups
Act as a first responder by providing first aid




Monitor surveillance cameras, control access, and manage fire and alarm systems
Respond to emergency calls and communicate with emergency services (911)

WHAT PROFILE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Experience: 1 year in public, industrial, or commercial security (including customer service)
Requirements: Valid First Aid and CPR certification (Level C: infant, child, adult), valid driver’s license, and valid security guard license issued by the Bureau de la sécurité privée
Language: Intermediate English (Level 2)
Skills: Confidentiality, self-control, autonomy, interpersonal communication
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
