We are looking for a qualified, talented and ambitious sales associate for our retail store in Toronto, Ontario. We are a Scottish family owned business that is dedicated to offering the finest goods Scotland has to offer, with a special focus on creating beautiful in-house custom made kilts and a wide selection of kilt rental packages. We also sell Celtic jewellery, knitwear, tartan & Harris Tweed clothing & accessories, whisky glasses, books, British food & more.

We are currently looking for a key individual that will help us to keep up with our expanding business and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

We are a small business so we need people that can provide exceptional customer service while also handling all the other tasks that happen in the background to support the business. We require a minimum of five years of specialty retail experience.

Specific Skills Required
Exceptional customer service skills with a proven track record of being able to engage with customers and to make recommendations based on an understanding of product and how to meet customer needs.




Attention to detail and ability to accurately input data in order to receive goods and update inventory, cost and retail data
Strong communication skills that will be used with in-store customers and to support the creation and updating of website content.
Ability to work with multiple systems and processes to fulfill and ship online orders
The ability to create compelling and productive merchandise displays
The ability to work with multiple deadlines
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
Experience with Shopify and Smart Vendor would be an asset but not a necessary requirement.
Knowledge of Scottish and Irish culture and heritage is an asset.
Knowledge of Highland Dress is an asset
Post secondary education is an asset
