Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in baking and pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in cake decorating. This role requires a commitment to quality and excellence in food preparation, ensuring that all pastries meet our high standards of taste and presentation.

Duties
Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for customers.
Assist in the overall food preparation process, including mixing, baking, and packaging of products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any inquiries regarding pastry offerings.
Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all baked goods.




Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.

Qualifications
Proven experience in baking or pastry preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Strong skills in cake decorating, with an eye for detail and creativity.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Excellent cooking skills with a solid understanding of various baking techniques.
Previous customer service experience is preferred, showcasing the ability to interact positively with guests.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen workplace while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
