Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for customers
Handle food preparation tasks including mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations




Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed
Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations

Experience
Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field is preferred
Experience with cake decorating techniques is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in baking and food preparation
Solid skills in pastry presentation, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness in a busy kitchen setting
